Breaking Bad

Walter White, 50, is a professor of chemistry at a high school in New Mexico. To support Skyler, his pregnant wife, and Walt Junior, his disabled son, he has to work twice. His already gloomy life becomes bleak when he learns he has an incurable lung cancer. Doctors do not give him more than two years to live. To quickly raise a lot of money in order to protect his family, Walter sees only one solution: to use his knowledge of chemistry to make and sell crystal meth, a synthetic drug that pays a lot. He offers Jesse, one of his former students who has become a small second-class dealer, to team up with him. The improvised duo set up a traveling lab in an old motorhome. After a devastating cancer diagnosis, chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston) thinks about funding his treatment and securing his family in case of his death. Since his puny salary would never be enough for the costs, Walter comes up with a crazy idea. As a chemical expert, he has sufficient knowledge to produce the artificial drug Crystal Meth. Since he has to sell his product on the streets of Albuquerque, he seeks the help of his former student Jesse Pinkman (Aaron Paul), who has become a drug addicted petty criminal. While Walter's brother-in-law Hank (Dean Norris), a DEA agent, is unaware who the mysterious "Heisenberg" really is, who conquers the market with his excellent meth, Walter is increasingly enjoying his new life. The stuffy and timid teacher is transformed into an unscrupulous drug king and is increasingly becoming a danger to his family.
